funded PhD position to do research on the project:
Upscaling
CH4 emission from the Arctic from the plot to the global scale:
building a framework for comparison with models
This
studentships is part of the NERC Doctoral Training Partnership "ACCE"
(Adapting to the Challenges of a Changing Environment).
This is a
partnership between the Universities of Sheffield, and the Centre
for Ecology and Hydrology, Edinburgh (Dr. Ute Skiba, and Dr. Garry
Hayman).
The student
will spend some time doing research in the Arctic Alaska, in collaboration with
San Diego State University (Prof. Walter Oechel and Prof. David Lipson).
