ABYSS is an
EU Framework 7 Marie Curie Integrated Training Network coordinated by M. Godard
(Géosciences Montpellier). It brings together 10 European research groups
internationally recognized for their excellence in complementary disciplines
and 4 Associated Partners from the private sector.
The ABYSS
ITN will provide training for 12 Early Stage Researchers (PhD) and 3
Experienced Researchers (Post-doc) in Geodynamics, Mineralogy, Hydrodynamics,
Thermodynamics and (Bio-)Geochemistry.
Recruitment
will be an international process based on the principles of the European
Charter and Code for Researchers. Eligibility criteria apply for ITN projects,
in particular, for mobility : at the time of recruitment, researchers shall not
have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their future
host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to that date.
Except when
noted otherwise, recruitment of ESRs (PhD) starts on March 20, 2014 and the
deadline for applications is June 1, 2014. The call for applications will be
open on March 20, 2014. The recruitment procedure will be posted at this date.
