Three Ph.D.
and 3 postdoctoral positions are available within the ERC Research Project
EVOKES “Explosive Volcanism in the Earth System”. The project is based at the
Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (Germany) and the topics involved include:
- Rheological
deformation map for magma
- Submarine
volcanic explosions
- Acoustic emissions across the
glass transition
- Neutron and X-ray tomography of
volcanic materials
- Permeability
history of erupted products
- Petrophysical
properties of volcanic ash
All
positions are open immediately and will be filled independently. To express
